Be economical with floor provisions in the sports floor
The importance of using floor supplies sparingly.
Floor pots, ground bushes and floor anchors are important floor provisions of a sports floor. They serve to secure floor posts or sports equipment. The construction and design of a floor provision is different and depends on its function. A worn, poorly sealed or uneven floor provision poses a danger. The consequences?
Danger to Athletes
Floor facilities that are not at the correct height pose an immediate risk. A floor pot that is too high or too low can lead to trips and injuries. This is not only dangerous for athletes, but can have legal consequences if injuries occur.
Handle floor pots sparingly
Many damages to floor pots result from improper use. Make sure that piles and other sports equipment are placed and removed properly. Avoid excessive loading and always use proper protective materials. If the seal around the floor pots is not good, water from the scrubber can soak into the shock absorbing layer of the sports floor. This swells and the floor may come loose. Bumps in the PU sports floor increase the risk of tripping and falling.
