Filter system of eco-revitalization artificial turf soccer fields is approved by Omgevingsdienst Amsterdam

Last week we received the great news from the North Sea Canal Area Environment Service that our innovative filter system used in eco-revitalization has been approved! A client of Safesportveld.nl had asked the Omgevingsdienst Noordzeekanaalgebied to check the effectiveness of the filter system. Safesportveld.nl extracts water when revitalizing artificial turf soccer fields. The contaminated water passes through six different filters, ultimately filtering out 99.996% of the microplastics and a very large proportion of the metals. The Omgevingsdienst Noordzeekanaalgebied confirmed that after the filtration, the water may be discharged into a ditch or sewer. Of course, samples of wastewater must be taken with some regularity (‘before’ and ‘after’ revitalization), to keep checking the values.
