How do you remove sports resin?

This is our step-by-step resin remover plan

Resin removal from sports floor and materials.

Remove fresh resin after every practice and game for a safe sports floor.

Cleaning agent alone is not the solution to handball resin removal. With the following protocol, cooperation and commitment of the entire handball team, the sports floor will stay clean. Be sure to use the proper materials and dosages.

  • Step 1: Manually spray with diluted resin remover (VSV-H3) and allow to work in for at least three minutes
. Work at a ratio of up to 1 liter of VSV H3 to 10 liters of water (1:10).
  • Step 2: Use the Rekola-Reflex stems and swabs with special microfiber cloth to rub off the fresh resin after the
    soaking time.
  • Step 3: Machine scrubbing in the following manner: indirect scrubbing* with VSV-H3 and a red pad under the
machine. Always follow the dosage as described on the resin remover.

*Indirect scrubbing means putting the floor in first, letting the detergent do the work (10 minutes) and
then scrubbing and vacuuming again. Advice here: rinse thoroughly once with water only to remove
any residue.

Do not forget to spray the goal posts, door handles and other contact points and wipe them clean after a few minutes with the
special microfiber cloth or the special hand pads.

Perform the operations immediately after resin use when the resin is fresh. Dried resin cannot be removed with any
resin removal product.
