Cleaning pads for scrubber dryer
Especially for cleaning sports floors
Cleaning pads: which ones do you use for sports floors?
We frequently come across sports facilities around the country where the scrubber has brushes instead of pads. This is not convenient. A brush mainly slides the dirt back and forth, while a pad picks up and disposes of the dirt. Only on rough floors with a lot of relief can a brush offer a solution.
Compare it to a greasy baking dish: a brush won’t really clean it, a scouring sponge will. That’s how it works on a sports floor, too.
When using a sports floor, always use a pad, not a brush.
Cleaning pads for scrubber dryer in different colors, different functions
In sports floor cleaning, we mainly use red and green pads. The lighter the color, the softer the pad.
Red pad: softer in texture and therefore suitable for daily or weekly use
Green pad: somewhat firmer in texture for monthly deep cleaning
PU sports floor cleaning
For cleaning a PU sports floor, we recommend the following:
Weekly maintenance:
Use the red pad. First wet the floor with detergent (pH around 8). Let the detergent soak in for 10 minutes. Then scrub with little water and vacuum at the same time. Choose a cleaner that leaves little or no residue
Monthly maintenance:
Use the green pad. Use a more powerful cleaning agent (pH around 11). Again, allow the agent to act for 10 minutes. Scrub with little water and vacuum immediately. The 10-minute soaking time is important. This gives the agent a chance to soak off grease and dirt.
Cleaning wooden sports floor
A wood floor requires a careful approach! Use only the red pad. Scrub with a small amount of water. Too much water can cause damage to the wooden floor.
