Tips to reduce black streaks

To reduce soiling of your gym floor, we do not recommend black soles or roller skates with soft rubber wheels. In addition, we recommend using decent-sized mats at the entrance to catch the dirt. This way you spend less time cleaning and it extends the life of the sports floor.

How do you remove streaks on the sports floor from field hockey sticks?

These types of streaks, scuffs are mainly caused by indoor field hockey. This happens through almost every field hockey stick because of the material and hardness of the striking part. Friction with the floor surface causes scorch marks or streaks. This is actually a damage in the top layer that cannot be polished away. Taping the stroke area makes for slightly less obvious striations, but does not provide a solution.
