Safe Sports Flooring is organizing an inspiration tour for the fourth time!

Amsterdam again the city for the Inspiration Tour?

We are happy to take you to various locations in Amsterdam.

 

A unique insight into sports and games offerings

This day we will visit a sports complex in Amsterdam-Zuid, near the Olympic Stadium, namely the Frans Otten Stadium. This is not a soccer stadium as the name might suggest, but one of the few places in the Netherlands where a lot of racket sports come together. Justin Goetzee, director of Padel Connect will take you through the rise and future of padel sports.

Also on the program is the Amsterdam indoor cycling track Velodrome. A wooden track in the shape of an oval with origins dating back to 1972, where national and international races are held. The center court is set up as a basketball court.

 

A national example with a clear vision and good approach

Dennis Gebbink tells his story about the creation of a unique sports complex, Sportclub Only Friends. What started as a small soccer club has grown into a sports center with 900+ members. This sports complex is a national example with a clear vision and good approach, creating a place where children with disabilities can play sports and participate fully in society.

 

Sportpark Goed Genoeg, Amsterdam Football Club – AFC

We visit one of the oldest soccer clubs in the Netherlands, founded in 1895 and based in Amsterdam-Zuid since 1920. Since last year, Hera United, playing in premier league women’s soccer has been using the sports park. Here we get a tour and lunch.
